The test consists of four mandatory parts that evaluate general proficiency in the French language: listening comprehension, reading comprehension, speaking, and writing. The listening comprehension section includes 39 multiple-choice questions, while the reading comprehension section has 39 multiple-choice questions, with only one correct answer for each. The speaking component consists of three tasks arranged in order of increasing difficulty, and the writing component includes three tasks that similarly progress in difficulty.
